For this project I created the visual identity of a Melbourne-themed café in Stoke Newington, London. Gertrude Street is a very trendy part of Melbourne, and the cafés in the area all have very retro-style visual identities - something which I emulated myself. The yellow, maroon and blue colours pay homage to a famous Australian Rules football team from around Gertrude St, the Fitzroy Lions, and are meant to draw the eye of customers passing by.
